Making as Learning - Hand dyed Rain banner

I've been interested for a while in making my own colours but have been nervous about their colour fastness. Inspired by the theme of the next 62 Group exhibition Making as Learning, I've made a piece using my hand dyed colours to see how they perform.

I've used red cabbage, red onion skins, hollyhock and hibiscus flowers and avocado stones to create this wide range of colours.
