Since this course launched, Emily has been receiving lots of lovely feedback.
Thank you for your generosity in sharing your knowledge, techniques- and for producing a clear and very user friendly workshop. While we are (unfortunately) not in person gathering around tables admiring one another's work - through the FB page and live Q&A it surprisingly feels similar. It's my first time in such a venue and it's much more connected than I anticipated. Well done! - Sandy
I’m feeling totally bereft .. all I have left of your course is the slide show, I’m leaving that until later. Do you have any idea how much I’m going to miss you sitting at my kitchen counter chatting away in your lovely conversational way whilst imparting knowledge as you do so? Your class has been delightful, I’ve learnt and been inspired by you. - Gillian
Thank you so much! Everything is all very clear, concise and enjoyable to watch and listen to. I get lost in the time I spend creating and what a lovely thing that is. - Roni
Your course especially has been a revelation. Appliqué can sound a little old fashioned but what you are doing is so fresh and dare I say innovative, that it has really helped corral some of my erratic ideas. Thank you so much for putting this course together and sharing your special work. It was an absolute pleasure to participate and you were a delight to watch. Bravo! - Jo
Emily has many years experience teaching and has delivered classes for West Dean College, Selvedge Magazine, Embroiderers Guild and TextileArtist.org to name a few. This course is new but here is some student feedback from other courses and classes.
Hi Emily, just to let you know how much I enjoyed the webinar you did for Sue Stone’s Stitch Your Story class, it was so clear and I learnt such a lot from you! I have always admired your beautiful embroidery and it was a real treat that you shared so much with us! Felt so lucky that you were able to drop in to my home in New Zealand despite the lockdown!
Best wishes, Katherine
Thank you for your course at West Dean this weekend! I so enjoyed it and really appreciated your help and encouragement and being so generous with your knowledge. I feel I have more direction for my work in the coming months.- Annabel Forrest - short course student
It was a wonderful wonderful week. I so valued your leadership in guiding us through a new stitch technique; and being so sharing of all your expertise and knowledge; AND for me personally, helping me think outside the box. Everyone thought it was a wonderful week.... learning another stitch technique and "laughing" . Good for the soul. - Priscilla
